Goa is India’s prime destination for water sports activities such as kayaking. For beginners, however, the task may seem a little daunting for some especially beginners who may have difficulty getting into the kayak in the first place. The task may be embarrassing in a public scenario but following some easy steps can help getting safely into the kayak a cakewalk.

§  Enter the kayak from areas that are shallow and without rocks
§  While paddling a whitewater kayak, it is advisable to get into the kayak at the shoreline and slowly paddle or push into the water
§  While getting into the kayak from a deck, make sure to have a firm hold on the deck using your hands and slowly get in the kayak and turn around and slowly remove your hands as you sit. Keep your paddle perpendicular in the kayak.
